About Me

On These Spindrift Pages - A journal of nature, thought, and the reflective life.: From a small Scottish coastal village, I write in search of solace, and in the hope of offering a companion to those who, like me, find meaning in reflection and in the subtle harmonies of existence. Amid the noise and hurry of the wider world, I hope this space may serve as a pause, where one can linger over the consolations of nature, the beauty of art and music, the wisdom of books, and the gentle currents of thought.

"The primary impulse of the artist springs from discontent, and his art is a kind of crying for Elysium." Forrest Reid (1875- 1947), Apostate
